So I've decided that turning 18 ain't all that great.
Sometimes I even forget that I'll be considered an "adult" by most of the generalized Western world in 16 days. Or is it "sixteen" days? I never know the difference in appropriateness for spelling out. Figures I'd be an English major, no? Mmm. Perhaps it's because those days of family celebrations and huge, frosted cakes are gone. Now, it's slender collections of dollar bills and half-hearted hugs. Which is fine, really. Growing up. I don't think I'll ever fully grow up, at least not for a many a years from now. I'm pretty sure I fancied up some sort of Peter-Pan syndrome somewhere...
I don't even have a wishlist! Errawwggh.
Someone buy me a puppy and I'll be fine.

My thoughts exactly. Come on, I like Nutella more than nonfunctioning pocket internet...

you know technically... you are not considered a full adult with representative responsibilities until you are 25 and even then you arent a full aduly with senatorial standing until you are 35... so technically the western world as you put it... considers you a young adult... thus is life... welcome to the best years of your life...
Nutella! Oh goddd. Haha, I was totally eating that a couple hours ago. By itself. Is that weird??? :(
And I was thinking about that whole adulthood thing today too, what with my birthday approaching as well. Actually just today, someone was saying that in college it's like you have "inferred adulthood" even if you're 17 (you, me). I don't know. I'm feeling like this whole big 18 thing is overrated, but at the same time, I just want to be 18 already so I stop getting those "wtf are you doing in college" looks when people ask my age. yeknow?? Meh.
